From new construction to full gut renovations and rehabilitations, across both single-family and multifamily projects, we manage every phase in-house: acquisition, design, construction, and final sale. Ryan McNeil is the Founder and Managing Principal of McNeil Development, a New England-based real estate development and investment firm focused on creating high-quality residential and mixed-use properties in some of the region’s most desirable coastal markets. Since founding the company in 2024, Ryan has grown the firm to more than $100 million in assets under management, with projects spanning Nantucket, Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, and other select New England communities.
A 2022 graduate of Princeton University, Ryan was a four-year varsity football player and three-time All-Ivy League selection. The discipline, resilience, and leadership developed through Division I athletics continue to shape his approach to business, driving a commitment to excellence, accountability, and long-term value creation.
Ryan’s experience spans the full development lifecycle, including acquisitions, capital raising, underwriting, design, permitting, construction management, and asset disposition. He has led a diverse range of projects, from luxury single-family residences and condominium conversions to multifamily and mixed-use developments. Known for his hands-on approach, Ryan remains actively involved in every stage of each project, ensuring that execution aligns with the firm’s standards for quality, efficiency, and design.
With a deep appreciation for New England’s coastal communities, Ryan focuses on identifying opportunities where thoughtful development can enhance neighborhoods while delivering exceptional experiences for homeowners, residents, and investors alike. His investment philosophy centers on creating enduring assets in locations with strong fundamentals, limited supply, and lasting demand.
